As the National Risk & Security Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Legal & External Affairs. You will be responsible for the Risk & Security Management processes for the Fiji and Tonga end markets and will provide a support role to the Samoa market. The development and review of policies and processes relating to Risk & Security Management will be part of your business as usual deliverable. This role will actively provide business partner support on Information Security matters; as such you will actively manage Business Information Integrity & Confidentiality processes and its implementation across the business. You will be the principal personnel to drive Security Intelligence and be the key liaison between the Company and security related stakeholders.
Essential requirements
The role focus is of strategic importance and this will require you to work collaboratively with the Executive Committee and Heads of Functions to drive effective risk management and security controls throughout the Company’s Supply Chain Operations. You also will efficiently manage key processes such as Business Continuity Plans, Business Impact Analysis and related budget requirements with value added key wins.
Desirable requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business studies or a similar field. You must have at least three years of relevant experience with demonstrated experience in managing complex investigations and preparing briefs suitable for legal evidence. As a cross functional business partner, you proven history in effectively managing risk, budgets, projects, business continuity plans, and business impact analysis and security tools will be an important perquisite to this role. With security being a key focus on Information Integrity, having excellent skills in effectively proposing, reviewing and implementing security tools, programs and policies at a cross functional level is one of the key attributes needed.
You must have excellent stakeholder engagement & presentation skills to drive sustainable relationships both internally and externally. You must have a demonstrated acumen in successfully achieving both strategic & operational targets. You will need to have exceptional initiative and strong decision making abilities. You must be a self-starter, willing to take responsibility and enjoy getting things done in a pressured environment.
