Technical Advisor/Trainer - BARC II

Primary Function:
Responsible for providing advice, guidance and technical support to host country. Responsible for training, oversight and capacity building, assisting host country develop capabilities to become self-sufficient or reach desired goals or end states.

Essential Functions:
Maximize efficiency, effectiveness and safety in all operational areas
Plans, coordinates and conducts training for all personnel
Evaluates performance and compliance with training objectives, procedures, and technical requirements
Maintains student and instructor training and qualification records as required
Plan, organize, and supervise training as required
Provide all services in a professional and efficient manner
Provide support by overseeing all aspects of contract and subcontract work for assigned projects, involves management and oversight of budgets, contract compliance, scope of work procedures, manpower, logistics, and administrative actions by performing and delegating project tasks vital to the conduct of company business
Manage project activities including site personnel, budget, and equipment needs to ensure project and program goals are achieved or exceeded
Proactively engage company resources to meet project requirements
Capable of filling in for Project Manager operational duties as assigned
Conduct research and compile data relevant to the needs of the company for project development as required
Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of all assigned communication and correspondence
Review information and prepare summary and final reports for presentation to Business Unit Manager, customers and high profile clients
Perform administrative or logistical duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager or Business Unit Manager for various corporate entities, both internal and external, in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
Will perform any other duties as directed by line manager

Job Requirements:
College degree in related field or equivalent relevant work experience
Prior military EOD or graduate of formal training course of instruction
Basic user level of computer systems, Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Primavera Project Management software, database applications, and documentation control systems
Overseas work experience highly desirable, preferably for two (2) or more years
Knowledge of applicable US DoD and IMAS standards, industry and international best practices
Knowledge of host country requirements and culture
If former military must have received a honorable discharge
Must be available to work outside the normal schedule when dictated by needs of the company
Ability to work in harsh working conditions, outdoors, and/or in extreme temperatures
Must be willing to deploy OCONUS
Must possess valid passport
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
