Tactical Operations Center Supervisor

Job Summary
The TOC Supervisor is responsible for supervising Tactical Operations Center (TOC) staff members. Responsible for supervising the effective and efficient operation of the TOC communications equipment assigned to the Program. Supervise the operation of various items of non-secure communications equipment, in accordance with current policies and procedures, to ensure mission success and accountability.

Principal Accountabilities
•Supervise Tactical Operations Center (TOC) staff members’ daily activities and ensures compliance with corporate, government contractual and legal requirements.
•Communicate with personnel during mission execution within the TOC area of responsibility (AOR).
•Coordinate and communicate with the Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Quick Reaction Team (QRT) during QRT missions and rehearsals.
•Manage a journal/entry log(s) and relay information within the organization to ensure the safety of personnel and mission success.
•Record, manifest, and track all convoys/security movements and personnel within the area of responsibility immediately upon departure from the life support area.
•Conduct the coordination and dissemination of information at the direction of the supervisor with other staffs within the program.
•Execute communications security (COMSEC) techniques to ensure control over communications systems and executes operational security (OPSEC) techniques to ensure control over operational procedures.
•Communicate using a variety of voice and text based communications, including cell phones, regional and global satellite communications, tactical military communications including CODAN radios, and UHF/VHF radios.
•Maintain constant communications between TOCs established throughout assigned area.
•Responsible for recording information, monitoring routes throughout the program area of operations.
•Capture, record, formalize, and transmit all incident / activity reports; and any other required reports as directed.
•Submit incident/activity reports and other required reports, daily, weekly and monthly as required and directed.
•Use TRACK24 C4i platform, web based, to track assets as they move around the AOR.
•Accountability of all moving elements within their area of responsibility.
•Develop and maintain contacts for aid in emergency situations.
•Provide emergency aid contacts environmental information developed from within the program.
•Provide emergency contact for all program personnel, disseminates environmental information, and maintain personnel accountability for the purpose of creating the safest working environment possible.
•Maintain accountability of personnel, coordinates information flow in emergencies, and processes environmental information for dissemination throughout the program.
•Maintain accurate contact information for program personnel.
•Perform other qualified duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills
•Able to effectively lead others.
•Computer literacy: MS Office Suite, e-mail handling, instant messaging, etc.
•Ability to read a map: Latitude/Longitude and Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) that is the geo-coordinate standard used
by NATO.
•Must have any of the following skills: the basic understanding of communication equipment and training in anti-terrorism.
•Exceptional ability to multi-task.

Experience & Education
•Five (5) or more years of Military or Law Enforcement experience.
•Two (2) or more years working in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
•Experience with Military Communications, Law Enforcement Dispatch, or Emergency Management Communications preferred.
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
•Able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
•Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
•Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
•Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
•Able to pass pre-deployment medical screening as required by the contract.


Travel
•Ability to travel domestically and internationally


Qualifications
Must have obtained a Weapon's Certification within the last 10 years

Candidate must be able to pass both weapons qualifications and physical fitness course: The minimum standards are:
•Endurance Run completed in 2:30 minutes (two minutes and thirty seconds)
•Obstacle Course completed in 2:00 (two minutes)
•M-4 Rifle qualification scoring of a minimum of 240 points on the approved DSS qualification course
•M-9 Pistol qualification scoring of a minimum of 400 points on the approved DSS qualification course



Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle
