Responsibilities and Duties: 
The trainer will have a background in US military communications at the battalion level or higher; E-7 thru E-9/CW2/O-4 or higher with 10 years or more experience in the communications field; appropriate levels of experience in planning, establishing, and maintaining HF, VHF, and UHF tactical and operational radio networks; Capable of providing guidance and direction in the development of a comprehensive Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4I) Infrastructure; Experienced in the design of a C4I network diagram; Providing guidance with the development of the Signal Annex of the Operations Order and CEOI/SOI; Experienced in all aspects of frequency management and Information Management; Experience advising and working with foreign military and civilian personnel. Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance and a minimum one year of experience in Afghanistan.

• The G6 SME Ops Branch Trainer will directly train, advise, and assist (TAAM) the ANASOC G6
Operations Branch and indirectly TAAM division level staff and subordinate staff personnel and any
other sections as it relates to communications or communications planning.

• The G6 Subject Matter Expert Ops Branch Trainer will train, advise, and assist the Afghan National
Army Special Operation Command G6 Operations Section in all aspects of communications planning and
preparation at the tactical and operational level. The G6 SME will provide appropriate levels of guidance
during the development of military orders and the CEOI/SOI. The SME will also be capable of providing
guidance in all aspects of frequency/Information Management and planning.

Minimum Tangible Qualifications:
E-7 thru E-9/CW2/O-4 or higher and 10 years or more experience in the communications field.

Appropriate Battalion or higher level of experience in planning, establishing, and maintaining HF, VHF,
and UHF tactical and operational radio networks.

Applicants selected for this position will require an active/interim secret clearance, background
screening and the ability to maintain a secret clearance for employment. Applicants selected for a

security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for
access to classified information.

Experience training Afghans on Military communications tactics/techniques/procedures
