This position is contingent upon contract award. This position requires a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Purpose of the Position:
Provide operational and administrative oversight to staff, employees, and customer at assigned site
Principle Responsibilities of the Position:
Manage large numbers of US and foreign Nationals
Work with linguist POCs to ensure linguist and military needs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner
Liaise with customers to ensure all requirements, as defined in the Statement of Work, are met
Identify operational problem areas and provide sound solutions for swift mitigation
Coordinate movement, facilities, and operational needs of employees and the primary customer
Display strong, positive leadership; interact positively and professionally with linguists, staff, and customer
Coordinate available resources to ensure successful mission completion
Identify employees who attain exceptional results/performance and recommend appropriate recognition
Mitigate employee issues and concerns
Read, understand, and implement all germane company/Military publications required to perform duties
Maintain current and accurate electronic records on employee status in both the company Personnel Tracking System and (PTS) and the Military’s secure Unit Linguist Manager’s Database (ULMD)
Update company policies, SOPs, handbooks, and other instructional documents as needed to accurately reflect
operations (add new data, remove items no longer germane)
Produce and deliver movement reports, presentations, briefings, and program reports to company and military personnel as required
Provide data on linguist performance and movement to Assignments Manager
Assess efficacy of operational processes and plans; perform periodic assessment of all aspects of assigned site
Ensure that employees adhere to company, Armed Forces, and host nation standards of conduct
Oversee site management team along with site operations. May be responsible for an assistant site manager directly reporting to the site manager.
At a minimum a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university required. However, each year of the four (4) years of Post-Secondary education may be substituted with two (2) years of experience in one, or any combination, of the following: project management, organizational behavior, Communications, or human relations
Minimum of Eight (8) years combining US and/or overseas assignments, especially in the target geographic area.
Prior work experience involving project management, organizational behavior, communications, or human relations emphasis desired
Direct knowledge and experience working with linguists
Experience with the US Military, as a civilian or member of the armed forces.
