The Role
Reporting through to the National Manager, Risk and Security the Security Risk Advisor will provide advice and solutions for controlling and reducing security risk across the Tabcorp Retail and Oncourse Network. The role will be specifically responsible for assisting the ongoing development, management, implementation and maintenance of Tabcorp's Wagering Security Risk Management System for our Retail Network and Oncourse sites. The successful candidate will be seen as a key brand ambassador for security risk and a subject matter expert with the primary objective of minimising risk across our network.
The Responsibilities
The successful candidate will actively engage on security issues including; advice of our security policy, security roles and responsibilities, security risk mitigation plans and providing assurance that security procedures are implemented and effective. Strategically assess security risks within Tabcorp's Retail Network and Oncourse operation, as well as design and implement strategies and controls aimed at reducing these risks. The successful candidate will coordinate regular risk reviews for agencies, special events and on-course operations in conjunction with preparing security advice including preparation and managing limited operating costs budget. Embedding security policies and procedures into internal and external training programs, will also form part of this role.
The Person
You will have tertiary qualifications in Business or equivalent, with previous experience in a security advisory role and hold in depth security knowledge/experience. You will possess an appropriate level security licence along with security experience in a similar large, corporate or Government environment. Previous experience working with a Security Risk Management system is highly regarded.
Alongside strong influencing and collaboration skills, you will be seen as a trusted partner, providing sound advice to customers and stakeholders and capable of building a brand for security risk within our team in Sydney and beyond.
