Security Manager (Oil&Gas Project) , Tunisia

Our client is an international Oil & Gas company with a strong portfolio of projects currently being undertaken worldwide, including the laying of pipelines and the design & construction of gas plants. They have identified the need to hire an experienced Security Manager to manage one of their facilities in Tunisia.

Responsibilities
*Coordinate day-to-day provision of security support.
*When required, assist in meeting and greeting Company staff and contractors when they arrive in the country.
*Supervise and monitor all in-country journey management.
*Provide Security support to Company expatriate personnel while in-country.
*Assist with Security Risk Assessments, and update Security information.
*Ensure that security threats are recognized, managed and mitigated timely and appropriately.
*Assist with induction of all new staff and visitors.
*Assist with training of the Security Guard Force as required.
*Support delivery of security procedures and processes.
*Ensure the effective control and maintenance of keys, passes and security surveillance equipment.
*Ensure that all Company sites receive relevant security information timely.
*Inform security Manager of all security related incidents and report in accordance with global Security policies and practices.
*Ensure the building's CCTV system is professionally, effectively and sensitively monitored in compliance with all Global Security recommended practices.
*Provide support in all emergency situations.
*Support and comply with all company Health, Safety and Security policies and procedures.
*Support security related investigations as required.
*Conduct routine security administration; maintain log books, carrying out weekly/monthly security checks in accordance with Company requirements.
*Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by Company management.

Skills & Experience
*Considerable experience with the Police or Military.
*Security experience as part of an in-house team preferred.

*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Excellent interpersonal Skills.
*Dependable, reliable and carry tasks timely and punctually.
*Self-motivated with a willing and friendly approach.
*Ability to work effectively and constructively as part of a team.
*Ability to take initiatives and be adaptable.
*Willingness to work flexible shift, including working after hours and at nights if required.
*Good knowledge, insight and appreciation of the local security environment, potential risks and threats.
