Lead Instructor , Saudi Arabia

Job Description:
Raytheon is seeking an experienced and qualified senior training instructor for a position in Saudi Arabia. The Senior Lead Instructor, in coordination with the Project Manager will set project strategy, vision and tactical direction for all training across various multifunctional teams and staff. The Sr. Lead Instructor will have responsibility for the development, coordination, supervision, and execution of the intelligence training curriculum for the national security academy. He will be responsible for meeting project milestones and adhering to project master plans and schedules, and identifying potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken. The Sr. Lead Instructor will have authority to make decisions on development and delivery issues and will interface with the customer on a daily basis creating a spirit of partnership that will provide business and technical advice ensuring the success of the training program. The position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Senior Lead Instructor will have oversight of all training staff, will develop, coordinate, supervise and execute the training curriculum for a security force located at geographically dispersed locations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Duties and responsibilities include:
Receive weekly progress reports from all instructors and conducting monthly Lessons Learned sessions
Responsible for conducting routine team meetings, management reviews, risk reviews and risk mitigation plan preparation
Coordinates peer reviews of program deliverables for quality, updates, data collection, etc
Responsible for milestone tracking, Engineering Notebook maintenance, metrics, minutes of meetings, contract data, cost schedules, etc
Responsible for managing budget, schedule, staffing, risks and quality of all contractually required products
Oversee cadre of instructors and coordinating replacement of instructors as needed
Oversee and assist in the standardization, development and implementation of new training, identification of gaps in existing training, update new tactics, techniques and procedures and training required to meet future needs and threats


Teach courses as needed
In absence of the Program Manager, the Sr Lead Instructor shall be a single point of contact for the customer and must be available via telephone at all times, 24/7 and be available to meet with the customer within (30) thirty minutes during normal working hours (Sunday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM) and within (2) hours of request outside normal working hours.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
National/international reputation in the field a plus with experience in security organizations with a Law Enforcement or Military Intelligence background
5-10 years of previous international Law Enforcement, military CT, or specialized law enforcement teaching or training
Proficiency with MS Office tools including Microsoft Project
Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia for a minimum of 3 years
The candidate must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the type of work to be completed under this task
Demonstrated ability to exercise cultural sensitivity
Must be able to obtain a Saudi Arabian Employment Visa and Residence Permit (Iqama) for extended visit
Must be able to obtain a "No Objection letter" if you have worked in Saudi during the last 3 years
Must be able to obtain a Saudi drivers permit/license and capable of driving to and from training sites
Must be medically cleared by Raytheon


Required Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in an applicable field plus 10 years of direct experience, ideally to include the management, design and deployment of training programs on a large scale.


Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
PhD is highly desired.
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia and or military/counter intelligence training is strongly desired
