Summary: Under direction of the Director – Executive Protection, the Executive Protection Agent performs all aspects of protective operations for select members of the Oracle Corp., domestically and outside of the US.

Duties:
● Safeguarding Duties: Safeguards principals from all forms of security and safety hazards. Provides security coverage for principals, guests, and others in a way that is professional, courteous, and in compliance with policy and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position may directly supervise the daily activities of contractors who are providing similar protection services. Supervise 5op’s security officers, and acts as liaison with outside agencies in the event of building problems, security issues and fire or other emergencies. Manages and completes all projects and duties as assigned in a timely manner.
● Advance work: Conducts surveys of future sites that principals will visit for events, ranging from casual events to Head of State level events, and plans logistics around sites and events. Detailed planning includes all aspects and issues relating to physical locality, movements in, out, and around site and event, and preparation for emergencies and other contingencies.
● Driver: Acts as primary driver, as well as, follow car driver for principals. Must operate vehicle in safe and comfortable manner, identify and counter threats along routes, and render aid in the event of accident or other safety hazard. Ensure vehicle is in good working order, fueled, and clean. Prepares routes in advance, as well as alternate routes.
● Liaison: Coordinates with internal staff and department heads to accomplish common goals regarding provision of personal assistance and support for principals’ activities. Liaison with outside Executive Protection Teams whom visit the Oracle campus for customer meetings.
● Communications: Report writing, oral and written briefings. Communicates appropriately with staff and principals. Remains on call 24/7/365 in order to respond to all emergencies;


Computer Skills:
● Proficiency using the Internet.
● Proficiency with basic office software (i.e., Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.).
● Proficiency in the basic use of various types of communications equipment (mobile radios, Satellite phones, BGAN, etc.).

Work Standards:
● Able to travel and work irregular or extended hours.
● Able to regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands/manual dexterity, reach or stretch, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; speak or hear.
● Able to frequently climb or balance, and taste or smell.
● Able to occasionally run or sprint.
● Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally
exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; work with explosives and vibrations.
● Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. 5 years relevant work experience. Proficient with Internet use, basic software packages, and use of various types of communication equipment. Ability to travel and work irregular hours. Ability to run or sprint. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds. Able to frequently climb or balance, and taste and smell.
