C-IED Training Specialist

Key Role:
Perform classroom and Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) lane training on tactical operations in a threat environment involving Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). Perform duties as an observer and controller in a field environment and in Explosive Hazards Coordination Cell. Provide input to design, develop, and refine courses of instruction (COI), programs of instruction (POI), training support packages (TSP), and master scenario event lists (MSEL). Provide initial and sustainment instruction through a multitude of training methods, including coaching, mentoring, discussion facilitation, and platform instruction. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current events, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) in areas including US Pacific Command (USPACOM) and US Central Command (USCENTCOM) areas of responsibilities. Coordinate and incorporate tailored regional intelligence products into training events and capture and communicate current best practices and lessons learned. Author high-quality documents, reports, and PowerPoint presentations. This position is located in South Korea.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:-4+ years of experience with the US military-1+ years of experience with deployment
to an operational theater, including combat-Experience with Counter Improvised Explosive Device Training-Experience with formal military training techniques-Experience with MSEL development-Experience with Microsoft Office-Secret clearance-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience in the US Army-4+ years of experience with explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) or as an engineer within the US Army-Experience as a senior NCO, E7 and above, or Officer, O3 and above, with commensurate Professional Military Education (PME) completed-Experience with CREW and Biometric training-Experience with developing Master Scenario Event Lists (MSEL)-Knowledge of US military units within the PACOM area of responsibility-Top Secret clearance-BA or BS degree-TRADOC or equivalent service instructor training course certification
