Job Description
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking retired or former U.S. Army Special Forces Non-Commissioned Officers (18B, 18C, 18D, 18E, 18F, 18Z) or Infantry Ranger (11A, 11Z), SSG to SGM, to serve as an Instructor on a Security Assistance Team (SAT) that will provide tactical training to SOF personnel at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) near Amman, Jordan. This SAT is being provided as part of a Security Assistance Training Program that directly supports U.S. Foreign Policy and the execution of Department of Defense Security Cooperation Plans and Programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• As a SOF Instructor, the candidate will serve on a training team that will deploy to Amman, Jordan to provide instruction and training to SOF personnel.
•The candidate will serve on a SAT that will provide training to SOF Operators to improve their capacity to deter, prevent, disrupt, capture, and prosecute known terrorists and terrorist organizations.

Job Requirements
•Must have recent (within 5 years) CENTCOM theater experience training partner nation Special Operations Forces
•Retired/former U.S. Army Special Forces Sergeant (18B, 18C, 18D, 18E, 18F, 18Z) or Infantry Ranger (11B, 11Z) that held of the rank of SSG to SGM
•Must pass an Army APFT (age appropriate) Must pass a comprehensive background check
•Must provide DD 214 to document experience and qualifications Must present a professional military appearance and bearing
•Must have successfully completed a medical physical exam within the last 12-months with no chronic conditions that would prevent performance of duties
•Must present proof of recent (120 days) negative HIV test Must possess a current U.S. Tourist Passport. (Passport must not expire within 24-months of being hired.)
•Must be drug-free with ability to successfully pass drug screening test
•Must possess the ability to effectively conduct cross-cultural communications and deliver training/instruction with the use of an interpreter
•Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Prior experience conducting cross-cultural communications and delivering training/instruction with the use of an interpreter
•Prior experience developing military instructional material
•Prior experience working with SOF in the Middle East is highly desired

•Basic knowledge of Iraqi Arabic is desired
