Scope:
Protection of building, equipments and physical infrastructure from loss or damage, prevention of loss or waste of corporate resources, investigate and document incidents and security activities in a timely and professional mannerurity measures, ensure that safety and security measures in the hotel are observed at all times.
Overall objectives:
* Protection of equipment, buildings and physical infrastructurefrom loss or damage
* Prevention of loss or waste of corporate resources
* Protection of employees, visitors and public from harm
* Prevention and detection of criminal activities and antisocialbehaviour
* To respond, investigate and document incidents and securityactivities in a timely
and professional manner
*To maintain hight stanrard of Safety & Security
*To exhibit good teamwork
*To enforce the hotel rules, regulation and policies as well as the department rules,
*Policies and standards.
*To patrol the hotel noting and correcting safety, security, and fire harzards.
*To Respond properly in any hotel emergency safety situation.
*To manage and supervise the day to day security officers of the property to ensure safety
and security of all guest, personnel and property .
*To take responsibility for all training related to the hotel’s emergency procedures
and play an active role in hotel fire drills.
Nationality: Eligible for a working permit in Qatar
Education: High school Graduate or equivalent
Experience : To fill the position, one of the following is required:
Two years experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel.
A very good command of English in both written and spoken and to follow safety
and security rules and procedure without compromises at all times are essential.
Language: Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment:
English – excellent oral and written skills
Arabic – beneficial
Additional language – beneficial
Competencies :
Good knowledge of basic first aid
Good knowledge about all latest security technology
Very good knowledge about safety precautions and procedures in a work place
Very good knowledge of fire fighting procedures
Technical competencies:
Excellent skills in Microsoft office
Excellent skills in access control system.
