Summary:                This position is for Corporate Executive Protection of high profile clientele, and family working locally, domestically, and internationally.
Position Description:       
Position responsibilities include protection of high profile clientele and associated personal assets while working in a global setting. Position will also work closely with family, staff members, law enforcement, and other EP/ security officials.
Qualifications summary:
A minimum of five (5) years operational experience working in corporate Executive Protection required, preferably with at least three (3) years on a family detail.Experience providing EP for private, high-net-worth families preferred. Must be able to: travel internationally on short notice; meet aggressive timelines in a highly-dynamic, cross-disciplinary environment; have exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills (both written and verbal); and prioritize and manage tasks independently.  Experience working on complex, multi-functional project teams is a necessity.
Other desired qualifications, responsibilities and skill sets:
  • Acts as the duty agent and principle client point of contact on assigned shifts.  Reports to Detail Leader and/or Director of Security.
  • Applicants having previously attended college are preferred.
  • Applicants may possess government dignitary/personal protection or law enforcement personal protection experience.
  • Applicants must be able to work comfortably in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Applicants must be (and maintain themselves) in excellent physical condition with height and weight proportionate.
  • Applicants must have verifiable industry recognized executive/dignitary protection training and experience providing close protection to high net worth individuals.
  • Applicants must be prepared for domestic and overseas travel and be able to pass all Washington State private security guard requirements to include a demonstrated proficiency with firearms (if desired)
  • Applicants must have a clean driver’s license record and no misdemeanor/ felonies.
  • Applicants must have independent judgment and discretion.
  • Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills with superb writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively and seamlessly with the family members, corporate executives and senior colleagues of the family in business and social environments.
  • EP Team leader/EP Supervision experience is preferred.
  • International protective travel experience with a strong emphasis on the preparation of comprehensive Advance plans is preferred.
  • Well versed in protection strategies, tactics, and technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and customer service mentality.
  • Strong communication skills to include: oral, written, listening, precision questioning, and translation of non-verbals.
  • Strong project management skills to include: organization, communications, documentation, and cross group collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze information, determine contexts, take appropriate action, and choose the correct course of action.
  • Adhere to privacy and confidentiality guideline and policies.
  • Possess strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with a calm sense of urgency.
  • Engages and inspires others, sought out for expertise, assistance and mentorship.
  • Inclusive and respectful in working with others, and conveys a sense of trust and integrity.
  • Effectively interface with Principals on tactical questions regarding the detail.
  • Can bring forward ideas to improve the program and, with oversight, can effectively execute.
  • Position is unarmed (subject to change).  When/if changed, candidates must be capable of demonstrating advanced firearm proficiency, via initial and mandatory qualifications.  Must acquire, at company expense, an unarmed guard card and/ or armed guard card.
  • Possession of First Responder (40hr course)/CPR/AED or EMT training and certification is required within twelve (12) months of hire.
