GARDAWORLD is currently hiring a PART TIME – SECURITY GUARD in Toronto for a high profile Government Building.
The successful applicant will be required to work in a commercial property environment and will be compensated at $12.50/hr with a comprehensive benefits package. The successful applicant will be required to work from Monday-Friday from 0830 – 1230hrs
Responsibilities Include:
* Access control of tenants entering/exiting the premise
* Use of a metal detector
* Checking bags of people entering/exiting the site
* Report writing
* Customer Service
* Other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Expertise Required:
* Valid Ontario Security Guard license
* 6 months – 1 year of security guard exp.
* Fluent in English, both written and orally
* High school education or equivalent
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Knowledge of the trespass to property act and relevant legislation
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
* First Aid/CPR
* Police Foundations or Law Enforcement training/education
