Job Description
KeyPoint Government Solutions is seeking Senior Level Corrections Advisors and Consultants for international criminal justice sector reform initiatives. We encourage current, former, and retired corrections professionals that have worked in this field within the last 5 years to apply.Corrections professionals who have previously applied for the position of Corrections Advisor do not need to also apply to this opening. If you meet the Senior Corrections requirements, your application is already under consideration.

General Responsibilities would include one of the following:
Senior mission leaders in a command staff position responsible for distribution of, communication to and training of all assigned personnel and prompt and complete handling of special assignments.

or
Senior executive level leaders responsible for setting overall mission direction and working closely with INL, USG, senior host governments, and international actors.

Successful candidate will meet one of the following sets of requirements:
Associate’s degree and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in corrections/probation, including at least three years in management and supervision (at the rank of associate warden or its equivalent in a facility of at least 200-beds or probation field office manager, or its equivalent), visionary skills and ability to form strong partnerships in a diverse culture.

or
Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in corrections, of which four years must have been in senior management and supervision (at the rank of warden or the equivalent of a facility of at least 500-beds or probation district or regional supervisor), visionary skills and ability to form strong partnerships in a diverse culture.

or
Bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years of progressively responsible experience in corrections, of which four years must have been in senior-level management and supervision (regional director or its equivalent), visionary skills and ability to form strong partnerships in a diverse culture. Additionally, a minimum of two years of senior-level management position on international corrections assistance mission.

Other Requirements:
Graduation from federal or state-certified corrections, probation/parole academy of at least 120 hours in length
Current certification in first aid, less-than-lethal systems and chemical agents
Applicants must be willing to submit to a background investigation — minimally, these positions will require a favorable moderate risk public trust determination, and some positions may require a higher level federal security clearance
Ability to communicate in English (Foreign Service Institute standard level 4 for U.S. citizens in writing, reading comprehension and speaking or level 3 for third country nationals in English writing, reading comprehension and speaking)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle (an International Driving Permit for third country nationals)
The ability to pass requisite physical, medical and psychological tests appropriate to assigned task/country
Valid U.S. passport (for non – U.S. citizens, valid passport from their country of citizenship)
Must pass a post-offer/pre-deployment multi-panel drug test

Job Location/Travel:
All positions will be deployed overseas and candidates must be willing to work overseas on missions of varying length
