Role Responsibility:
Parkville Security Officers are responsible to the Supervisor or delegate for the efficient and effective operation of the following:
Processing of ALL visitors, contractors and staff
Recognising prohibited items
Handling detection equipment
Manning prohibited items detection screening points
Traffic management
General security of the perimeter and single entry point at the Parkville Youth Justice Precinct.
All duties are undertaken in accordance with G4S policies, procedure, operational instructions and relevant government policy, procedure and legislation.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential requirements for this role are:
Current Victorian Security Licence with relevant sub-categories.
Current Certificate III in Security Operations.
Current Level II Certificate in First Aid.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Control Room Operations.
Maintain an understanding of Traffic Management Operations.
Adherence and ability to meet multiple compliance requirements in tasks, posts and conduct.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
