Position Description Atlas Global Advisors, ULC (ATLAS) is looking for qualified and motivated CSO personnel for the following job opportunity. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for securing Atlas Global Advisors, ULC. Reporting to the COO of ATLAS, you will lead the
team that ensures the safest and most secure environment possible for our people and property. Your strong knowledge of industrial security will be put to use in our PA facility. Experience from defense sectors will be an added bonus as you help drive the strategies that keep ATLAS on the leading edge of security technology, processes and systems.Please note: This position is open to Canadian citizens only.
Roles/Responsibilities - Maintain the security requirements of the Industrial Security Program with detailed knowledge of the Industrial Security Manual (ISM), including:- Identifying those employees who require access to Protected/Classified information, assets, or Protected/Classified work sites and ensuring that accurate and complete Personnel Security Screening documentation is submitted for such employees;

- Providing change of circumstance reports for personnel with regard to their security screening status as outlined in the Industrial Security Manual;
- Where necessary, arranging Resolution of Doubt Interviews with employees;
- Ensuring that employees receive a security briefing upon notification of having been granted a security clearance or reliability status by completing the Security Screening Certificate and Briefing Form;
- Ensuring the Security Screening Certificate and Briefing Form, is submitted in order to terminate the reliability status or security clearance of those employees who no longer require access to Protected/Classified information and assets or controlled sites in accordance with contractual requirements;
- Ensuring that only personnel who have been security screened to the appropriate level and who have a “need-to-know basis” have access to Protected/Classified information and assets or controlled sites in accordance with contractual requirements;
- Maintaining a current list of security screened employees in accordance with Chapter 2 of the Industrial Security Manual;
- Ensuring that personnel security screening files are safeguarded properly;
- Ensuring the proper completion of Visit Clearance Requests (VCR’s);
- Informing CISD of any changes in the organization’s legal status or ownership and in the case of Facility Security Clearances, changes in the list of Key Senior Officials; and
- Reviewing the security requirements as defined in the contract Security Requirements Check List (SRCL) or contract security clauses and ensuring that all security requirements are adhered to.
- Provide operational security oversight to ATLAS’ Canadian Office
- Fulfill the company’s contractual security obligations
- Develop and maintain company security policies in line with ATLAS Corporate security policies
- Study security regulations and restrictions relative to company operations
- Maintain and monitor the security systems; access and alarms at ATLAS’ Office
- Implement systems, procedures, measures, tools to ensure compliance with security requirements/regulations in Canada
- Consult with government representatives in interpretation/application/application of regulations
- Consult internally with company personnel and departments to assure adequate security measures are met
- Revise and update security measures due to new or revised regulations
- Report and investigate suspected violations of security
- Develop and implement a program which protects company sensitive information against loss/compromise
- Promote, communicate, implement and manage a continuing security education program for employees in information security awareness and procedures
- Plan and conduct audits with an ongoing assessment of threats, risks and appropriate levels of protection and recommend remedial action where required
- Recognize and recommend physical and electronic security countermeasures for electronic information handling
- Implement a Canadian company Counterintelligence Program .

Minimum Qualifications - Excellent organizational, project and time management skills- Ability to coordinate activities with multiple departments
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient working knowledge of security access control systems, cameras, and alarm applications
- Must hold or be eligible to hold a Industrial Security Clearance to the level of Secret
- Must be a citizen of Canada
- 5+ years experience in managing Security related programs for major defense contractor or other government agencies an asset
- University degree or other security related studies
- Knowledge of Industrial Security Regulations
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Google Mail, GDocs
- Computer literate
