Summary: Chenega Security & Support Solutions, LLC is seeking Armed Security Guards (ASG) for a short-term assignment at an OCONUS location. A successful candidate will be required to attend training beginning in the first quarter of CY-2013 followed by immediate deployment for a period up to
six months. The Armed Security Guard (ASG) is primarily responsible to perform protective service work such as guarding government owned or leased buildings and property, protecting government equipment and material, and controlling access to government installations by employees, visitors, and other contractors. The ASG does not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer, and has no arrest or apprehension powers. The ASG is armed with a side arm, or other weapons as required. A generous compensation package including a retention bonus and benefits will be provided.

· Follow all company personnel and safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.
· Relay clear and accurate information to and/or from security supervisors to pertinent personnel via telephone, radio, and/or other communication devices in accordance with orders and instructions
· Arrive at work in proper uniform and carrying required , issued equipment
· Exercise physical force; up to and including deadly force
· Operate effectively in an OCONUS environment
· Participate in Guard Mount, receive post assignment, and record instructions
· Carry out general and special orders for post assigned
· Interact and escort public and government personnel
· Provide access control duties, traffic control, and conduct walking and motorized armed security duties
· Maintain accountability, cleanliness and serviceability of uniform and equipment assigned
· Follow applicable standard operating procedures and government regulations pertaining to security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property and equipment
· Conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection
· Work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed.
· Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Supervision: This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:
· Minimum High School Diploma or GED
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in security or operational experience in the Armed Forces, civilian law enforcement or commercial security agencies within the past five (5) years
· Must be capable of qualifying with a 9mm hand-carry weapon
· Honorably discharged (If Applicable) from the US Armed Services
· Pass an In-depth Background Check, Drug Screen, Physical Exam, Dental Exam, and Training Course
· Successfully complete all training and obtain all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the worksite

Computer Skills:
· Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
· Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, (such as: MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance:
· Possess an active Top Security Clearance
· U.S. Citizenship
· Be at least 21 years of age
· Valid US Driver’s License and US Tourist Passport for extent of deployment
· Speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material
· Able to meet any Federal, State, or Municipal requirements to work as an Armed Security Guard
· Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture
· Have no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual’s reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenberg Act
