Security Shift Manager , Overseas

Job Description Responsible for the overall operation of the Security Department

Responsibilities
• Determine levels of staffing and develops comprehensive training and maintenance programs.
• Ensure that all information / reports required from the Security Department are submitted to the Casino Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain high employee moral and good customer relations.
• Assign duties to Security Shift Managers according to their abilities, performance and experience.
• Observe the entire Security operation in the performance of duties to evaluate efficiency and to detect and correct inefficient work practices.
• Interview and hire workers to fill vacant positions.
• Develop and initiate a comprehensive staff evaluation system.
• Demonstrate and explain methods of detecting and apprehending those suspected of violating company policy and procedures.
• Analyze Security needs, estimates costs, and present proposals.
• Assist in developing of Emergency Procedures and may be required to take command in emergencies.
• Responsible for ensuring that all emergency equipment is in good working order
• Co-ordinates fire drills.
• Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are strictly adhered to, and to report any breach of this policy or procedure to the Compliance Manager.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements
• At least 10 years experience within the security industry with 6 years or more in a management role. Experience within the hospitality industry essential, Casino experience preferred.
• Maintain and conforms to uniform standards required by Security department.
• Good communication skills.
