About the role
Purpose: Under the guidance and supervision of the Team Leaders and Senior Security Officers, the Security Officer is responsible for participating in the processes and activities required maintaining the security and safety of the Madinat Jumeirah Resort, colleagues and guests.
Main Duties
To be the main point of contact in emergency situations.
To follow the security policies and procedures at all times.
To do foot and vehicle patrols.
To escalate all concerns related to Fire and Life&Safety to more senior colleagues.
To make necessary entries in the security logbook and ensure information is registered on a daily basis.
To handle lost and found inquiries.
To control the colleague and outside visitor access points.
To issue supplier passes and control property removal by using the correct authorisation receipts.
To be responsible for controlling traffic movements by preventing extended parking time at critical locations within the hotel premises.
