Job Description
The Regional Security Manager is a senior sales position playing a key role in the creation and implementation of market strategy for Anixter security products. This role is responsible for providing leadership and support to multiple locations in various Canadian regions.
This career opportunity is suited for a senior sale’s professional who can provide leadership and direction to the Region’s sales team while developing relationships with product suppliers and key internal sales resources to successfully support Anixter’s Customers and go to market strategies. Included will be the development of key growth strategies and participation in monthly business reviews. In addition the successful candidate will develop and deliver customer education and evaluation programs.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 5 years sales experience including expertise in outside sales and territory management.
Solid background of working with video and access control based security systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience in the following product segments would be a definite asset; IT Systems, Network Cabling, Physical Security, Wireless & Voice.
Strong analytical skills assess customer business requirements and provide alternate solutions.
Must have strong competency in network infrastructure, CCTV, IP, and access control systems.
Strong management skills and proven ability to lead and develop teams.
Proven strategic thinker.
